“You need to do more than your best”

“Well , I believe I can get anything I want in this world.”

“What if it isn’t meant to be? How do you get the things that are not meant to be yours?”

“If people push themselves a bit more, they can do greater things. Instead of saying that it isn’t meant to be, why not say what I can I do to get it? Am I doing something wrong? What are my weaknesses that are holding me back? How can I improve? You need to do more than your best.”

It was a conversation I had with someone I recently met. And I begin to think now how true is that.

Today, I’m starting to realize I have the power to change things. The power to be the person I want to be.

“What if your best isn’t enough?”

“Then try again. Until your best is enough. Until you think you did your best and then, you just have to live with it.”

So, I’m going to try my best. My best will never be enough until I be who I want to be.

Thank you.
