Singapore Eats: Wild Honey – Breakfast for Dinner

It’s like revelling in the beauty of Scotts Square because after the Coffee Academics, I found myself celebrating my 25th at Wild Honey, the restaurant right below the cafe in Scotts Square.

It was a perfect spot on a Tuesday night. Singapore is always hectic especially during dinner and lunch time but since this restaurant serves all-day breakfast, it was not a popular dinner choice which makes it a perfect place to chit chat and spend birthdays.

Started our dinner with Brazilian Bites, a warm cheesy deep fried cheese balls. The bites melt perfectly in my mouth. I usually get sick eating too much cheesy food – but not in this case – each bite tastes so delicious.

English is your hearty American breakfast. The breakfast plate comes with tasty baked beans, breakfast potatoes, bacon strips, sausage, omelette and your choice of bread.

Boulevard St Michel

The fancy name indeed hints its fancy fillings. Savoury french toast with poached egg covered with parmesan crumble and that green creamy looking sauce is actually spinach souffle which is a delight at every savour.

I chose this because it gives the least breakfast feel compared to the rest of the meal. Poached eggs are wrapped with smoked salmon and topped with roes. The cheese, roes, poached eggs, avocado and smoked salmon make a delightful combination. I love it!

Red Velvet Cake

Ended my birthday celebration with this red velvet cake. Their desserts are made fresh daily and albeit not a fan of raspberries, I actually enjoyed the cake. It wasn’t too sweet and the blend of cream cheese, chocolate and cake were a burst of sweet delights.

In Summary:

Total cost per person: $25 – $40

Wifi: Don’t think so.

Will I come here again? Yes
